• 9th grade at 96% on-track - teachers/parents/students/advocates

• Proposed meeting schedule

  • Nov 3, 2023 - Intro & Digital Citizenship

  • Dec 18 - Trustland plan/data review - PBIS

  • Jan 28 - Plan amendment if needed.  YTD data. Discuss plan for next year

  • March 11, 2024 - Finalize and submit plan (due May 15 to state)

  • May 6 - Report on student success and plan implementation/budget. Elections for next year if needed

• Review Trustland plan - more detailed discussion next meeting

• Digital Citizenship - Blake Pope

• Kept same Chair and Vice-Chair

• Reviewed basic purpose of Community council and provided website link to Trustlands

• Discussed success of student advocates as evidenced with 96% rate of 9th grade students being on-track to graduate

• Proposed meeting schedule for the remainder of the school year

• Presentation about internet/digital safety by Blake Pope

  • Blocksi was selected as District Chromebook monitoring company

  • Gives parent capability to monitor Chromebooks at home

  • Discussed multiple classroom applications

• Powerschool

  • Student login difficulties?

  • Add some time to each meeting for community feedback discussions

• School safe-route to school plan review

  • Concern about only one crosswalk in front of school

    • Follow up with county about the issue
