- Review Purpose of Community Council - schools.utah.gov/schoollandtrust/councils
     School improvement plan/budget
     School safety/digital citizenship - Site assessment 10/15/24
     Positive Behavior - counseling
     Make recommendations to school board or admin

- Elect Chair and Vice-chair

- Feedback form on school website - Everyone needs a gmail account to access. No posting of
personal contact info on site ok as per training this year.

- 9th grade at 99% on-track - teachers/parents/students/advocates

- Review Trustland plan for this year

- Accreditation this year. Need parents for an interview panel.

- Proposed meeting schedule
     Oct 15, 2024 - Review Plan and Elect Chairs
     Nov 4, 2024 - Digital Citizenship Presentation -review concerns/feedback
     Jan 6 - YTD data review. Discuss plan for next year -review concerns/feedback
     March 3, 2025 - Finalize and submit plan - review concerns/feedback
     April 21 - Report on student success and plan implementation/budget. Elections for next
year if needed-

Community Council Minutes
15 October 2024

● Welcomed new council
● Sarah, Krisha, Whitney and Molly were excused as they were unable to attend this first meeting.
● Motion made for both Whitney and Jenna to serve as Chair. Votes gathered in person and via
email. Jenna elected as chair with Whitney as vice-chair.
● Informed everyone of the Google Form to use to contact the council, none opposed.
● Reviewed current year’s trustland plan - no questions or changes proposed.
● Informed of accreditation review this year.
● Set out proposed meetings dates.
● Motion made to adjourn by Mr. Morse. Seconded by Mr. Simon. Unanimous vote.
